r/worldnews - Supermarkets in England to be barred from displaying unhealthy food and drinks at checkouts or using them in buy one, get one free offers, as part of proposed government crackdown on obesity. No 10 also plans to stop multi-buy offers on foodstuffs high in sugar and fat from 2022.

100% would support this. If healthy foods were put on sale and maybe even subsidized, the world would be a better place! Healthy foods are already cheap. For the price of a candy bar, you can buy a bunch of bananas. For the price of a two-liter bottle of pop, you can buy a half-gallon of milk.
