r/worldnews - A strong earthquake swarm is underway in Iceland, with over 10.000 earthquakes detected in the past 7 days on Reykjanes Peninsula. The latest ground deformation data shows that magma is now starting to move and accumulate underground, increasing the risk of an eruption as the swarm continues.
