Denmark to end oil, gas extraction in North Sea by 2050, putting an end to the fossil fuel era

Indeed. All those 'we will stop polluting in 30 years' sounds to me like 'we will let next generation deal with it'. I mean it takes a lot of time and money to convert almost the entirety of a nations infrastructure. That being said, they should have started doing this 30 years ago.
