Canada Rejects Chinese Warning Against Granting Asylum to Hong Kong Protesters

In general it is far cheaper for China to get its goods to and from the US by using Canadian ports. If Canada were to close its ports to trans shipment of Chinese goods it would directly effect Chinese manufacturers bottom line.
