r/worldnews - The US has suffered another humiliating diplomatic setback after the president of the UN security council rejected the Trump administration’s attempt to extend economic sanctions on Iran.

Yeah, you can't withdraw from an agreement and then ask that it be enforced. That's why you have to stay at the table. But... that requires diplomacy, thought, and restraint of knee jerky reactions to... everything. And not being a narcissist.
