Turkey declares war on Syria’s Bashar al-Assad and unleashes swarms of killer drones

The Russian airforce bombed a Turkish HQ and killed 30+ Turkish soldiers, the Turks blamed the Syrians for it (cause they don't want to go to war with Russia) and used drones to target them. The Russians basically stayed back to let the Turks get their "revenge" for their domestic audience.
