r/worldnews - Airbnb has become so prevalent in Great Britain that some parts of the country now have one listing for every four properties, prompting concern that the rapid expansion in short-term lets is “out of control” and depriving communities of much-needed homes.

Goddamn millennials, only able to afford short term rooms. I live in a fairly small town that has a huge seasonal tourist influx. I've heard so many complaints, mostly from 20-30 yr olds, about airbnb renters draining the market of any long term stay rentals, it's been a real eye opener. via Pocket https://ift.tt/37MiivE
