Student invents a plastic alternative from fish waste to replace the type used for sandwich wrap, wins the 2019 international James Dyson award

The 2019 international winner of the James Dyson Award is MarinaTex, invented by Lucy Hughes. It uses organic fish waste from the fish processing industry to create a strong bioplastic that can be used as an alternative to single-use plastics.
