r/worldnews - World must invest $1.8 trillion in mangroves, early warning systems and infrastructure to hold back climate change - Nations rich and poor must invest now to protect against the effects of climate change or pay an even heavier price later, a global commission warned Tuesday.



The world won't do anything collectively until cities start submerging. I don't think they would do much then too. Only if prominent cities start drowning like NY, London etc then maybe they would build a sea wall at max.
