r/worldnews - Venus may have been a temperate planet hosting liquid water for 2-3 billion years, until a dramatic transformation starting over 700mya resurfaced around 80% of the planet, says new study - temperate climate might even have been maintained on Venus today had there not been a release of CO2



This is been pretty common knowledge for a while now, although it is always nice to see more confirmation.
