Wouldn't the carbon return back into the cycle after the tree dies? My understanding is that carbon sequestration is not a permanent solution. Please let me know otherwise. You're correct. But for the 100ish years that a tree lives it holds that carbon. Plus the time it takes for the wood to decay.
