Foreign purchases of American homes plunge 36% as Chinese buyers flee the market

Given that wealthy foreign purchase of homes in North America (both US and Canada) has become such an social justice issue, driving up the cost of housing, is this a bad thing? Only if it destabilizes the housing market.
