r/worldnews - The head of MI6 says Russia broke one of the prime rules of espionage and won’t be trusted again after it tried to assassinate a former Russian agent despite giving him away in a spy swap.

They tried to cheat against bobby fischer in world chess championships. The russians player would draw against each other and then they would all take on the American chess player 1 by 1 to wear him out! Except that ban was basically ignored and many of their athletes still competed.
