The discord between NBC News and Ronan Farrow went public on Monday night. At 7 p.m., Andrew Lack, the chairman of NBC News, sent an email to network staff members arguing that Mr. Farrow’s reporting last year on the film mogul Harvey Weinstein was not “fit for broadcast.”
