As Canada prepares to legalize marijuana this summer, politicians are facing growing calls to grant a blanket amnesty for people convicted under the existing drug laws – many of whom belong to marginalized groups. • r/worldnews



This makes complete sense. It would be stupid for someone to have a record for doing something that is now legal just beacuse they got caught when it wasn't legal. But as long as the the convictions are for non-violent drug related crimes. Just curious though.
