Does this change his problem of facing immediate arrest upon leaving the Ecuadorian embassy in London? It isn't Ecuadorian soil outside its embassy. Unlike the U.S. and other powerful nations I don't think Ecuador can protect a citizen on foreign soil like other nations could.
