The longest presidential deadlock in recent history is over ; Lebanon finally elects a president

He is far from ideal (being part of a corrupt political class that's the same since the civil war) but a president was sorely needed for Lebanon. Better to have a leds-than-ideal leader than no leader... Would have rather continued the deadlock than have him as a president. via Pocket http://ift.tt/2f99Bkb
