Australia NSW is facing the 'worst possible fire conditions' in its history

I live in the Newcastle area of NSW and it is almost 10pm. I just walked outside to see how hot it is and it felt like it was about 35c (I just asked the Mrs to check the temp online and they are saying 31c, but I swear on my love for my mother in-law it's hotter than that).
