Spain’s cash-strapped pensions system is paying out $330mn to 30,000 dead citizens every year

Adding to the 11,000 per person, the $330 million in extra payments works out to only 3% of the total $11 billion system. So stopping those payments makes almost zero difference to the problem itself. 330 million dollars is a significant amount.
